Gstaad Restaurant is an independent dining guide to the Saanenland valley. We cover Gstaad, Saanen, Schönried, Rougemont, Gsteig, Lauenen and Feutersoey — 138 real restaurants in total, from Michelin-starred temples to honest village trattorias and the legendary Berghaus restaurants on the slopes.
Rankings are editorial. We eat, we pay our own bills, we talk to staff and regulars. No restaurant can buy its way into our top 10. Featured partners are marked transparently and the position of every listing is ours alone.
Sending a booking request through our site is free. You pick a date, a restaurant and a party size — we relay to the house and come back with a confirmation, usually in minutes. Your payment goes directly to the restaurant. We take a small commission from partner restaurants for the guests we send, which is how we keep the guide free and independent.
We work in English, German and French — the three languages of the Saanenland. Just write in the language you prefer.
