Restaurant Rialto (Italian, also on the Promenade) and Arc-en-Ciel (pizza and fondue) are both open daily and staff the kitchen until 22:30. For something more intimate, Restaurant Muli on the Promenade opens at 18:00 and occasionally has last-minute tables if you call by 16:00.
Fondue is the great equaliser — the Saanenland's fondue restaurants tend to have more walk-in flexibility than their fine-dining counterparts, partly because the communal nature of fondue means small parties can be slotted into larger table settings.
